You'll need
- Your supplier account login (you sign in yourself on the Bot's computer)
- An Ask first rule for purchases in Auto-review
Time saved, honestlyIt replaces looking up each part by hand. Supplier sites vary a lot, so results vary too. We have not measured it.
Steps
- Add an Ask first ruleOpen Settings, General, Auto-review and add: "Ask first before adding anything to a cart or buying on any website."
- Paste the promptUse the prompt below with your supplier and part numbers.
- Sign in yourselfWhen the supplier asks for a login, the Bot hands you the computer. Choose Take over, sign in, choose I'm done, and tell it to continue. Don't paste passwords into chat.
Paste this into the Bot's chat
Open [SUPPLIER WEBSITE] in your browser. If it asks me to sign in, hand me the computer. Look up these parts: [PART NUMBERS]. For each, record the price shown to my account, stock at the [BRANCH] branch, and the page link. Put it in a table. Do not add anything to a cart and do not place an order. If the site asks for verification again, stop and tell me instead of trying to get around it.
Limits
- Supplier sites change and may time out sessions; you may need to sign in again.
- The website price may differ from your counter price or contract price.
- Check your supplier's website terms before automating lookups.
Safety notes
- The browser is shared by all your Bots, so any Bot on your account can use this signed-in session. Sign out when you no longer need it.
- Keep purchases behind your Ask first rule.
