Review request drafts after each job

At the end of each workday, the Bot drafts a short thank-you email with your review link for every job finished that day.

You'll need
  • The Job log sheet from the voice memo recipe, plus a Review asked column and a customer Email column
  • Gmail connected
  • Your Google review link (from your Business Profile)
Time saved, honestlyIt replaces remembering who to ask and writing the email. We have not measured the time saved.

Steps

  1. Add two columnsAdd Email and Review asked to the Job log sheet.
  2. Ask for the routinePaste the routine text below.
  3. Send the drafts yourselfEach evening, send or discard the drafts. The Bot only fills in the Review asked column when it creates a draft.

Routine: paste into the chat to create it

Every weekday at 5:30 PM, open the Google Sheet "Job log" ([SHEET LINK]).
For each row dated today that has an Email and an empty Review asked column, create a Gmail draft from me: thank them for choosing [SHOP NAME], ask if they would leave an honest review at [REVIEW LINK], and give our number [PHONE] in case anything isn't right.
Then write "Draft [today's date]" in Review asked for that row. Change nothing else.
Do not send anything. Post a count of drafts created in this chat.

Replace everything in [BRACKETS]. After the Bot creates the routine, open it and check Instruction and When to run.

Limits

  • It only knows about jobs that made it into the sheet.
  • It does not post, answer or remove reviews.

Safety notes

  • Google's Maps content policy does not allow offering incentives (payment, discounts, free goods or services) for reviews. Never add a discount to this email.
  • Ask every customer the same way; don't ask only the happy ones.
  • Drafts only, so you choose what goes out.
