Monday weather-load brief

Every Monday morning, a short brief of the week's forecast for your service area, with the days that usually mean heavy call volume flagged by your own rules.

You'll need
  • Nothing to connect: the Bot reads the public National Weather Service forecast in its browser
Time saved, honestlyIt replaces checking the forecast and thinking through stocking each Monday. Small, but it is consistent. We have not measured it.

Steps

  1. Write down your rulesDecide what temperatures mean a busy week for you and what you stock ahead of them.
  2. Ask for the routinePaste the routine text below, with your ZIP code and rules filled in.
  3. Check When to runConfirm the schedule and time zone in the routine.

Routine: paste into the chat to create it

Every Monday at 6:00 AM, open the National Weather Service forecast for [ZIP CODE OR CITY] at forecast.weather.gov.
List the next 7 days with highs and lows.
Flag days above [92]°F or below [25]°F as likely heavy-call days for us.
Add one line on parts to stock based on my rules: [e.g. capacitors and contactors before heat waves; igniters and flame sensors before cold snaps].
Include the forecast link. Keep it under 10 lines.

Replace everything in [BRACKETS]. After the Bot creates the routine, open it and check Instruction and When to run.

Limits

  • It is a forecast plus your own rules, not a prediction of how many calls you will get.
  • If the forecast page changes layout or is unavailable, the Bot should say so; tell it not to guess.

Safety notes

  • Read-only: it does not order anything.
